You lead with empathy, curiosity, and intention, prioritizing each child’s learning style, personality, and potential. You believe that meaningful learning happens when students feel seen and supported.
You're adaptable, creative, and unshaken by a little organized chaos. You’re comfortable working with mixed-age groups, adjusting your approach as needed, and seeing challenges as opportunities to grow.
You thrive in small, tight-knit environments and value open communication. You’re excited to partner with families, contribute to a shared vision, and help shape a school that’s still growing together.
You believe that learning should feel like home. You’re passionate about whole-child education, hands-on exploration, and creating a space where students are known, valued, and encouraged to grow in every way.
If no roles are currently posted, feel free to submit a general application—we’re always open to connecting with future team members.
As a K–5 Lead Educator at Olive Tree Academy, you’ll guide a small group of students through personalized, hands-on learning that nurtures both academic growth and character development. You’ll design and facilitate multi-age instruction, build strong relationships with students and families, and help shape a classroom environment where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to explore.
Ideal candidates are confident in teaching core subjects, comfortable with flexibility, and passionate about small-group, whole-child education. This role offers creativity, autonomy, and the chance to make a lasting impact in a close-knit microschool community.
As a Substitute Educator at Olive Tree Academy, you’ll step into the classroom to provide consistency, care, and calm when a lead teacher is away. You’ll follow existing plans and routines while offering students a sense of stability and encouragement throughout their day.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with children, is flexible and reliable, and can support a joyful, respectful learning environment on short notice. Whether you're an experienced teacher or just stepping into education, you’ll play an important role in our supportive, student-centered school.
