Meet Our Team of Educators

Hello! I’m Miss Rachel, founder and director of Olive Tree Academy. From as far back as I can remember, I’ve always had a heart for children. I dreamed of having a big family and creating a home full of love, learning, and purpose.

In 2005, I met my husband, and in 2013, we began our journey as a foster family—eventually growing our family to 10 children, 9 of whom are girls! We live on acreage where we’re building a small homestead together, and our days are filled with animals, gardens, and hands-on learning.

Staying home to raise and teach my children was always a priority. I began teaching preschool from my home in 2006 and have continued ever since. I’m currently homeschooling my 3rd, 8th, and 10th graders while overseeing the growth of Olive Tree Academy.
